Is Taylor Swift dropping hints with her newest fashion choice?
At the Kansas City Chiefs game in Missouri on Sunday, Jan. 26, the 35-year-old pop icon sported what appeared to be a Steven Batelle-designed 18K gold Ancient Greek coin pendant necklace with a diamond accent, according to fashion expert and Swift aficionado Sarah Chapelle.
Fans on X speculated that the necklace could allude to her re-recorded album, Reputation (Taylor's Version), as they believed the coin featured intertwined snakes similar to one listed on 1stDibs for $3,100. However, since each of Batelle’s necklaces is unique, Swift's pendant is likely a different design.
For the AFC championship game, Swift’s choice of necklace echoed her accessory from the start of the season: another antique coin necklace she wore during the Chiefs' first game, where they defeated the Ravens.
Swift showed her support for her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, at Arrowhead Stadium by matching her necklace with an outfit inspired by the Chiefs’ colors.

Her ensemble included red tights, a black pleated miniskirt, a $5,000 Louis Vuitton Monogram Jacquard Knit Jacket, a matching LV Spark Beanie ($550), a black Louis Vuitton chain wallet ($2,850), and Louis Vuitton Star Trail ankle boots ($1,760).
This latest look aligns with the Easter eggs Swift has been dropping in recent months, hinting at the release of Reputation (Taylor’s Version) through snake motifs and gothic aesthetics.
During her record-breaking Eras Tour in Miami in October, Swift debuted a new version of her Roberto Cavalli snake catsuit for the Reputation set, featuring intertwining snake details across the front.
On Oct. 12, 2024, the “...Are You Ready For It?” singer stepped out in another look nodding to her Reputation era. She carried a Roberto Cavalli monogram shoulder bag displaying a gold "R" and "C" entwined with snakes, paired with Versace Medusa Buckle platform mules.

To date, Swift has released four re-recorded albums: Fearless (Taylor’s Version) in April 2021, Red (Taylor’s Version) in November 2021, Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) in July 2023, and 1989 (Taylor’s Version) in October 2023.
She arrived at Sunday’s Chiefs game — which they won 32-29 against the Buffalo Bills to advance to the Super Bowl — accompanied by her parents, Andrea and Scott, and her brother, Austin.
The 14-time Grammy winner was later spotted celebrating on the field, kissing Travis, whom she has been dating since 2023, following his team’s victory.
