In a lengthy X/Twitter rant that stretched from Thursday night into the early hours of Friday (Feb. 7), Ye voiced his backing for Sean “Diddy” Combs, who currently faces charges including racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking by force, fraud, or coercion, and transportation to engage in prostitution. He also shared various other opinions, such as reaffirming his contentious belief that “slavery was a choice” and slamming “Kamala d**k riders” for challenging his provocative remarks.
The artist formerly known as Kanye West kicked off the tirade with “FREE PUFF,” criticizing Diddy’s celebrity peers who have chosen not to publicly stand by him during his legal troubles, labeling them as “pu**y.” He then turned the criticism inward, calling himself a “pu**y” for failing to defend Chris Brown during the backlash over the 2009 incident involving Rihanna.
Ye continued by referring to Diddy as his “idol” and stated that he feels no fear in expressing his thoughts because he has already been “cancelled” yet continues to succeed. “WHAT YALL GONE DO? CANCEL MY SNEAKER DEAL, CANCEL MY RECORD DEAL, FREEZE MY ACCOUNTS, F**K ALL YALL NI**AS, SLAVERY IS A CHOICE, IM SPEAKING MY MIND NOW I AINT EDITING SHIT AGAIN EVER.”
“ALL YOU PLEEEEEASE COME AT ME, THATS HOW WE SPOT THE KOONS, LET THESE WHITE PEOPLE AND JEWISH PEOPLE TELL YOU WHAT TO DO AND SAY F**K DIAGEO AND F**K ALL YALL NI**AS IN ADVANCE.”

Ye also revealed a collaboration between Yeezy and Sean John, available on Yeezy.com, noting that he and Puff would evenly split the profits 50/50. For now, Puff’s son, Justin, will hold his father’s share. Ye acknowledged past conflicts with Puff but argued that Diddy is being unfairly targeted to “scare ni**as.”
“JUST FOR CLARITY THEY TYRING TO MAKE AN EXAMPLE OUT OF PUFF. ME AND MY BROTHER HAD OUR ISSUES, BUT THESE WHITE PEOPLE TRYING TO USE PUFF TO SCARE NI**AS, IM NEITHER SCARED NOR BRAVE THIS JUST ME.”
“I STOOD UP FOR PUFF AND I’M STILL WINNING 20 GRAMMIES NEXT YEAR AND DOING THE SUPERBOWL,” Yeezy boldly proclaimed. Finally, Ye challenged anyone to dispute his controversial views, using a homophobic slur to denounce “Kamala d**k riders.” The full post can be seen below.
