Hugh Hefner’s ex-girlfriend Kendra Wilkinson makes surprising admission about living in Playboy Mansion and having ‘sex for money’

Women who spent time in Hefner’s infamous Playboy Mansion have had highly contrasting experiences…

Kendra Wilkinson has opened up about her experience inside Hugh Hefner’s Playboy Mansion and why it was both ‘lame’ but also ‘heavenly’.

Hugh Hefner’s Playboy first started out as a men’s lifestyle and entertainment magazine founded in 1953, but grew into an empire – with the notorious Playboy Mansion born not long after.

Since the editor-in-chief passed away in 2017 at the age of 91, the mansion, what went on inside it and Hefner’s alleged conduct have come under increasing scrutiny.

And former partners of Hefner, so-called bunnies and Playmates have since come forward to speak out about their experiences.

Hefner has ended up accused of drugging, filming sex acts which happened in the mansion without consent, and rape.

And one of Hefner’s ex-girlfriends, Kendra Wilkinson, has spoken out about her highly contrasting experience.

During an appearance on The Skinny Confidential Him & Her Podcast, Wilkinson reflected on her time in the mansion as ‘heaven’.

Noting she felt ‘left out’ and ‘didn’t have friends’ other than one other girl, the 39-year-old explained her typical day-to-day was ‘working out’ a lot and ‘running,’ going to the ‘canyon’ and doing ‘spin class’.

She continued: “All I did was work to and eat, work out, eat. I would be like preparing for the next party or something, ‘What am I going to wear’. That took a week out of the time.

“What else? It was just like heaven. It was a heavenly experience for me. Like there couldn’t have been a better experience.”

However, eluding to other much more negative experiences of the mansion, Wilkinson was quick to note that ‘two things that can be right’.

Wilkinson said: “You know like, people are like how can you say that when you have a daughter. Like I’ve heard people say […] what would you tell your daughter?”

She argued she ‘had to do’ what she ‘had to do’.

Noting the sex was ultimately ‘lame,’ she continued: “I had to survive, I was in survival mode. I chose what I chose. I made the choice to move into the Playboy Mansion, have sex for money with Hugh Hefner and I actually lived an amazing five years of my life. I have no regret.

“But to tell my daughter, ‘Oh like what would i tell her?’ I wouldn’t want her to be in that position of having to choose that.”

She added she’s ‘already’ talking to her 10-year-old daughter about going to college, ultimately reflecting while she had a great five years in the mansion and doesn’t regret having sex for money, it’s not the life she would necessarily hope for her daughter and that she ‘definitely’ has more options.

Wilkinson resolved: “I had to do what I had to do and I have no regrets about that. I honestly cannot say anything bad about my experience living there. My choices were mine.”
